Welcome to Storytelling...
Step into the magical world of storytelling and join me, Kathryn Tucker Windham, at Selma's 30th Annual Alabama Tale-Tellin' Festival. From tall tales to historical happenings, from ghost stories to mountain legends, from folklore to modern fables, the Festival offers a rare mix of truth and dreams.

So, relax, laugh, wonder, even shed a tear or two as the voices of our tellers transport you to the far reaches of your imagination. The two featured tellers and "The Dill Pickers" will perform each night, sharing different stories each evening.

Come early (5:30 p.m.) and listen to the informal tales at the Swappin' Ground where everybody is invited to tell a favorite story--a short one! While you listen, munch on a hot dog and homemade goodies from the concession stand.

Make a day of it and enjoy all that Selma has to offer:  Take a windshield tour of the town, or take a walk through the historic districts.
